3 Girl Boss Quotes That Will Put a Pep in Your Step

3 Girl Boss Quotes That Will Put a Pep in Your Step

By the age of 22, I’ve lived in five countries. On an Instagram feed, it seems pretty cool, right? But factor in getting visas, unreliable friendships, the language barrier and of course being so far from family, and it can become a lot. But, the victories that happen along the way are what keep me excited about life and motivate me to continue pursuing my dreams. Such as meeting the love of my life in Norway, or celebrating Christmas in a legitimate winter wonderland, a polar opposite (no pun intended) of my life in California.

The more frequently my life changes, the more I feel a need to slow down and take care of myself. Even if I feel overwhelmed, I know that a yummy, healthy meal, a long hike in the forest, or going to bed early on a Friday night is exactly what my body needs sometimes. It’s important to realize that the more you succeed, the bigger the obstacles you face will be, BUT the bigger the reward. I promise!

These three quotes definitely motivate me to continue following my dreams, no matter how bumpy the road can become:

“Don’t You Find It Odd That When You’re A Kid, Everyone Encourages You To Follow Your Dreams, Yet When You’re An Adult Somehow They Act Offended If You Even Try.”

– Ethan Hawke

If you pursue something with every atom in your body, it is destined to happen. If you’re the 1% that doesn’t give up, you’re bound to succeed, girl.

 “Action Expresses Priorities.”

-Gandhi

I honestly love this quote. It can be applied to so many situations, including why he didn’t text back. Haha. But remember to be respectful of people’s time, it’s one of the most precious things we have. If you’re dependable, people will know they can count on you.

“If Someone Is Trying To Bring You Down, It Probably Means That You’re Above Them.”

– Unknown

Need I say more? Haters…bye!

I hope that these quotes put a little pep in your step this week.
