Reformation Vintage

Reformation Vintage is the ideal place if you’re looking for a pair of vintage Chanel sunglasses, the perfect pair of vintage designer jeans or an amazing outfit for a special event. The store has an amazing selection of curated vintage designer items and you’ll want to buy it all. The prices are quite steep though, so save up.

Slow is such a beautiful store. The first time I was there I actually went in looking for stuff for Coachella and ended up buying a rug for my bedroom back in Oslo. Slow is packed with beautiful second hand items, but the store itself is so beautiful and creative that you should definitely pay it a visit even if you’re not looking for anything in particular.

Fairfax and Melrose Flea Market

I don’t even know where to start with this market - it is absolutely gigantic. If you’re visiting LA for the first time, make sure to set aside a few hours to get through (I’ve been there twice and I don’t even think I’ve made it through the whole market). The market contains anything from the perfect pair of vintage Levis jeans and the second hand leather jacket you always dreamed of, to homemade scented candles, art and dream catchers. There is a $5 entrance fee and most of the stands only accept cash, but it’s definitely worth the visit.

I really love this store for when you want a new designer item but don’t really have the budget for it. At 2nd Street you can find very reasonably priced designer bags, shoes and clothes - or unique second hand items, whatever it is you’re looking for. My friend found a perfect pair of Levi’s there, just saying.

Crossroads Trading Co.

Multiple Locations

Crossroads is my favorite second hand store in LA (and definitely the one I’ve spent the most time in) and I never fail to leave the store with some (very cheap) designer pieces. The stores are located all around LA and have a huge selection of anything from designer jeans to h&m tops, so you need to set side some time to really go treasure hunting. My best purchases include a barely used Isabel Marant dress, brand new MiH jeans, several pieces from Reformation and an white J Brand denim jacket that I’ll be living in this summer. My favorite locations are Silver Lake and Los Feliz <3.

Silver Lake Flea

Hanging out in Silver Lake on Saturdays is one of my favorite things to do when I’m in LA. This flea market is not just an oasis of extremely cool second hand clothing - it is the ultimate place to people watch too. When you’re done browsing, head down to Sunset and turn right, walk for 5-10 minutes and you will get to yet another little street market filled with beautiful pieces and ideal people watching opportunities.
