2 Super Healthy and Delicious Berry Bowl Recipes

2 Super Healthy and Delicious Berry Bowl Recipes

When eating out I feel like most smoothie/Acai bowls are average tasting and overpriced. They usually taste good because of the toppings, but the base is (in my opinion) often very bland and I typically conclude that I could have made a much better one at home. I prefer the whole thing to be delicious, thanks!

I make smoothies or bowls (almost) every morning, and I love experimenting with different healthy ingredients and flavors so that my body gets a little bit of every nutrient that it needs throughout the week. Lately, Iโ€™ve started writing down the best recipes and my plan is to share them with you here. The first two are these delicious berry bowls that are absolutely perfect for late and lazy weekend breakfasts - or to kick start your week in a sweet sweet way.

Let me know what you think!

Blueberry Bowl

(serves 2)

  • 1 banana

  • 200g frozen blueberries

  • 2 large dates

  • 2 large handfuls spinach

  • 1 dl almond milk (or any milk you prefer)

  • 1.5 tbsp cashew butter (or any nut butter)

  • 2 tbsp collagen protein powder (or any neutral tasting protein powder)

  • Cinnamon

Berry Bliss Bowl

(serves 2)

  • 1 banana

  • 200g frozen strawberries

  • 100g frozen blueberries

  • 100g frozen raspberries

  • 2 dates

  • 2 tbsp peanut nut butter (or any nut butter)

  • 2 tsp spirulina

  • 2 tbsp collagen protein powder (or any neutral tasting protein powder)

  • A splash of cold water

Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Top with whatever you want, but my favorites are homemade granola, nut butter, more berries and cinnamon!
